Goods on this site are sold by [YOUR REGISTERED BUSINESS NAME], trading as Sāpiën, registered at [STREET ADDRESS, POSTCODE, CITY, POLAND], tax identification number [NIP].

Adding items to your bag is not an order. A contract is formed only once we send you an order confirmation by email after your payment has been authorised.

We may decline an order — for example if an item is mispriced, if we cannot verify your payment or delivery details, or if we cannot ship to your address. If we decline an order that has already been paid, we refund it in full.

Every piece is made to order. We do not hold stock, so items do not sell out, but production adds time before dispatch.

All prices are shown in Polish złoty (PLN) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping is shown separately before you pay and is added to your total.

Payment is taken at checkout by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We never receive or store your full card details. Your order is confirmed only when Stripe confirms the payment has succeeded.

If a price is obviously wrong — a clear error rather than a discount — we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it at that price.

Items are printed and dispatched from within the European Union. Allow two to five business days for production before your parcel ships.

Shipping within the EU is free on orders over 300 zł, and 20 zł otherwise. Delivery to the United Kingdom, Switzerland and other destinations is priced at checkout.

Estimated delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Once the parcel is handed to the carrier, delivery timing is outside our control.

Orders shipped within the EU carry no customs charges. For destinations outside the EU, any import duties or taxes are payable by the recipient.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving any reason. This is your statutory right under the Consumer Rights Directive.

We extend this to 30 days for unworn items with tags still attached.

To withdraw, email us at hello@sapien-art.com before the deadline. You may use the model withdrawal form but you do not have to — any clear statement is enough. We will confirm receipt and send return instructions.

Return the goods without undue delay and within 14 days of telling us. You pay the cost of returning them, unless the item arrived faulty, damaged or incorrect, in which case we cover it.

We refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of you providing proof of return, whichever is earlier. Refunds go to your original payment method.

You are liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

If something arrives damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, tell us within a reasonable time and we will replace it or refund you, including delivery costs both ways.

These goods are garment-dyed and washed by design. Slight variation in shade between pieces, and continued softening and fading with wear, are characteristics of the process and not faults.

Write to hello@sapien-art.com with your order number and what went wrong. We aim to respond within one business day and to resolve complaints within 14 days.

If we cannot resolve a dispute between us, EU consumers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

The graphics, photography, text and designs on this site belong to us and may not be reproduced, resold or used commercially without written permission.

Quotations printed on the garments are attributed to their authors and are used as quotation. Nothing here implies endorsement by any author or their estate.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your own courts.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
